Last night was amazing! I had two of the girls over for a birthday celebration and we tubbed, carb loaded, ate sweets, and drank gin in a civilised manner! My macaroni cheese pizza (yes, it’s a thing and it’s way better than you could imagine) was definitely one of the highlights.
I was going to wait until Monday to start my health reboot, but when I woke this morning, I really wanted to get my products back into my system so I could start feeling like my best self. So I went “All In” and prepped my morning products.
So we have Keto Coffee, Greens on the Go blend, Collagen Works (I normally take this at night but since my joints were a bit achey I took the plunge), and a shake. I also took my regular medications, a multivitamin complex which I take to help with my fibromyalgia, and I have a Keto Energy sachet to help me with the mid-afternoon slump I tend to get when dieting.
You see, when I diet, I tend to crave at about 3pm and it’s when I am most likely to binge on carbs. So I up my fluids, dump a Keto Energy Sachet in my mouth, and ride out the cravings!
Today I have been at work with one of my dudes I look after. He’s a great kid and we went to one of my favourite places ever. One thing I struggle with when I take my own son out is that he always wants fast food, so I’m more likely to snack. But when I’m working, we both take a packed lunch, so I only have the contents of my bag to eat.
I’ll be eating out later tonight for a 50th birthday, but I’ll make sensible choices. I can afford to occasionally have slightly naughty meals as long as every other meal is strictly to plan and has minimal carbs.
I can do this. I really can. I’ve gained back the 4.5lbs I had lost three weeks ago because of the fibro flare but that was beyond my control.
If anyone reading this is trying to lose weight and needs someone to cheer them on, there’s a Facebook messenger group chat I can add you to, where we all try to cheer each other on. It’s not a competition. The goal is that we all succeed.
